I have been helping people with anxiety disorders for over twenty-five
years. I was originally trained by Dr. Manuel Zane of the White
Plains Phobia Clinic in 1975. For two years, in 1979 and 1980 I attended
weekly anxiety seminars with Dr. Aaron Beck at the Center
for Cognitive Therapy. I was a phobia counselor at the Roosevelt Hospital Phobia
Clinic, and Phobia Resource Center, both in New York City. From 1978
to 1983 I was the director and phobia counselor for the Delaware Valley
Phobia Service, in Columbus, NJ. Since 1980 I've been in private practice
with offices in New York City and Jersey City where I direct groups
and work individually with phobic and obsessive-compulsive people and
their families.
I've given numerous workshops and presentations for the Anxiety
Disorders Association of America, the OC Foundation and at the University of
Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
